Position Overview: We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our team and play a critical role in supporting our employees and advancing our HR initiatives. This position will handle a broad range of HR responsibilities and conflict resolution, to support our company's culture and help maintain a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution: Address employee concerns, mediate workplace conflicts, and work closely with management to foster a respectful and inclusive work environment.
- Disciplinary Action: Manage the disciplinary process by addressing performance and behavioral issues in line with company policies, documenting actions, and advising management on corrective steps.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Facilitate a smooth onboarding experience for new hires and coordinate offboarding processes for departing employees.
- Benefits Administration: Assist employees with benefits questions, coordinate open enrollment, and manage benefits-related updates.
- Policy Development & Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and assist in updating policies and procedures.
- Training & Development: Coordinate training sessions and assist in employee development initiatives to promote professional growth within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 2-4 years of HR experience, with a strong understanding of HR functions, policies, and procedures.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in HRIS software and Google Suites.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Empathy and Emotional Intelligence
Preferred Qualifications:
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
- Experience with talent management systems (TMS) and benefits administration platforms.
Work Environment:
- This position operates in an in person professional office environment. The role may require occasional travel, training sessions, or company meetings.
Salary Range: $65,000- $75,000
