Wage of Pay: $20 - 22 an hour (35 hours per week)

We are seeking a passionate and experienced HR Assistant to join our Human Resources team and contribute to our commitment to fostering a healthy and vibrant organizational culture.

Accountabilities:

• Assist with recruitment and onboarding efforts in a high-volume staffing function.
• Identify new and creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
• Handle candidate communication flow from initial contact to offer letter and beyond.
• Conduct phone screens ensuring cultural alignment of candidates and manage the overall interview process.
• Ensure references and background checks are completed in a timely manner.
• Place a strong focus on Diversity & Inclusion in the hiring process.
• Coordinate the requisition process, seeking efficiency with the candidate's experience in mind.
• Coordinate the Onboarding Program to ensure a welcoming and rewarding new hire experience.
• Create and distribute communications, forms, presentations, and training materials on behalf of the HR team.
• Actively contribute to the Events Committee.
• Support efforts related to organizational compliance with HR laws and regulations.
• Provide backup support to various HR team members.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred but not required. 
• 1-3 years proven HR Assistance experience with a focus on recruiting and onboarding preferred but not required.
• Excellent client service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office products, including Outlook and Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with HRIS and/or Talent Management software (ADP preferred).
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment.
• Multilingual abilities preferred but not required.
