HRIS Manager manages and oversees an organization's Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Develops, implements, and modifies software and hardware requirements based on changing business requirements. Being a HRIS Manager maintains internal database files and tables, and develops custom reports to meet the requirements of company management and staff. Provides the necessary training to meet end users needs. Additionally, HRIS Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to Director. The HRIS Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.   • Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    Performs payroll processing duties, including processing deductions for taxes, employee benefits, and other deductions. Ensures payroll tax deposits are processed in a timely manner. Responsible for HRIS data integrity including accuracy of employee records and preparation of reports. Ensures all employee records are maintained and updated with new hire information, changes in employment status or employee information. Assists with department’s internal controls and works closely with internal and external auditors regarding internal procedures, 401(k) and payroll audits. Conducts HRIS system training with managers and serves as point of contact for questions regarding the system. Serves as point of contact for employee questions or concerns. Participates in new employee orientation. Serves as backup for benefit administration and onboarding processes. Maintains familiarity with these processes/procedures as changes occur and is able to transition into these responsibilities as needed. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. Adheres to compliance with all federal bank regulations and laws, including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program.

    Job Requirements and Qualifications:

    College degree in Human Resources or related field preferred. Previous experience in human resources, accounting/bookkeeping, or payroll required. Must have strong computer skills, specifically Word and Excel. Accuracy and strong attention to detail required. Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task. Must be able to work with co-workers in a friendly and professional manner. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
