Objective: Manage and supervise the Congregate and/or Home Delivered Meals Program at the Nutrition Site Location.

• Perform all record keeping related to the Nutrition Program Program
• Oversee collection of client contributions
• Recruit an adequate Volunteer staff that will assist the Nutrition Site Manager with all aspects of the Meals Program
• Coordinate delivery of Home Delivered Meals, Options, Choices, Care Giver and Good Neighbor meals
• Maintain volunteer personnel folders
• Schedule annual fire inspection, conduct and document quarterly fire drills
• Obtain and maintain up-to-date Participant Registration Forms
• Maintain up-to-date Authorization forms, Re-authorization forms, and termination forms on Home Delivered Meals Clients
• Provide Nutrition Education once a month to Congregate and Home Delivered
• Coordinate activities calendar, announcements, special events and Outreach
• Monitor inventory of condiments, supplies, and equipment, and order replacement stock from SWHRA as needed
• Post all of the following in a highly visible, centralized location: Food Permit, Approved Menu, Suggested Contribution, Grievance Procedure, Food Stamp Certification, Fire Evacuation Plan, Health Inspection, Fire Inspection, Food Removal/ Disposal Policy, Hand Washing Signs
• Maintain up-to-date Site Managers Manual
• Attend all Site Managers Training Meeting and other appropriate training sessions as scheduled
• Ensure that all completed reports including Weekly Meal Reservation sheets and Weekly Route Sheets for each program, all totaled Volunteer In-kind sheets and Nutrition Outreach are received by Central office no later than the third working day of each month
• Ensure Meal Delivery Voucher along with attached deposit slip/or counted and documented contributions are sent into Central office daily

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:

Must be capable of keeping accurate records. Must have outgoing personality and the ability to work with the elderly and low-income persons. Must have a genuine interest in the elderly while enforcing the general rules of the Nutrition Program. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with the general public. Must have the ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships. Must be neat in appearance and practice good health habits. Must possess valid Tennessee driver’s license and the ability to be insured at standard vehicle liability rates.

Pay: From $10.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
