Director of Human Resources
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Director of Human Resources is responsible for department operations to adhere to organizational policies and procedures related to recruitment, compensation, benefits, performance management, training, record retention, handbook development, and employee relations in accordance with federal and state mandates. This position reports to the Vice President of Finance and Operations.

ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES
- Human resources functions include recruitment, retention, onboarding, off-boarding, compensation, benefits, staff handbook, training, and records retention.
- Administers employee benefit programs including open enrollment, enrollment maintenance and required compliance notifications.
- Maintains an HRIS system for documentation and reporting requirements in accordance with policies and provide data for reporting on human resource activity.
- Ensure company compliance with mandated federal, state, and local laws regarding human resources functions, policies, and procedures as well as development of written procedures to document processes.
- Administer performance management processes, documentation, and mediation.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, related field and/or experience
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification, preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of related work experience with employee benefit plans, performance management as well as policy administration
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
- Technology proficient in virtual meeting platforms, HRIS programs, and data management programs
- Valid Driver’s License, required
