Human Resources Director plans and oversees human resources functional operations, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, safety, and compliance. Administers human resources programs and policies to reflect the organization's mission and values, support company goals, achieve objectives, and positively engage the workforce. Being a Human Resources Director maintains broad and current subject matter knowledge and expertise in federal and state employment laws to advise leadership with solutions for human resources issues and evolving organizational needs. Implements an HRIS or other system to facilitate processes and provide data and reporting on HR activity. Additionally, Human Resources Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Human Resources Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Human Resources Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     FLSA: Non-Exempt

    Reports To: Human Resources Director                                              

    Physical Requirements:  Normal Office Environment 

    Hours of Work: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week     

    Pay Range: The pay range is $16.80 to $24.00


     POSITION SUMMARY
    Assist with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties. The HR administrative assistant carries out the responsibilities in some or all of the following departmental development, HRIS, employee relations, training and development and new hire onboarding.

     

    Job Qualifications:

     
    • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. AAS Degree is preferred.
    • 2 – 3 years experience in a clerical position.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft products, is a must.  

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

     
    1.Responsible for personnel file development, filing and maintenance.
    2.Take photo, and make identification badges for employees, volunteers, interns, contractors.
    3. Process terminated employee documents and remove personnel files from active in a timely manner.
    4. Complete form 104 and send to OPWDD to ensure removal of terminated employee.
    5. Order office supplies for the HR department.
    6. Assist Recruiter in sending letter to applicants not hired.
    7. Scan and upload documents into HRIS system.
    8. Provide clerical support as needed to the department and agency wide.
    9. Spearhead HR projects as assigned.
    10. Keep HR Administrative Procedural Manual updated.
