HVAC Supervisor jobs in Binghamton, NY
HVAC Supervisor supervises and coordinates the operations, maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. Oversees the installation of new units and replacement parts and ensures work is completed according to company, product, or engineering specifications and established safety guidelines. Being an HVAC Supervisor conducts quality testing and inspections. May authorize equipment, supplies, parts, or repairs purchases. Additionally, HVAC Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Requires an HVAC Mechanical State License and EPA Section 608 Certification (CFC). Typically reports to a manager. The HVAC Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an HVAC Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Job Title: HVAC Service TechnicianEssential Duties and Responsibilities
- Respond to HVAC&R service calls as required/dispatched
- HVAC system service experience required, equipment including RTU's, Heat Pumps, Boilers, Cooling Towers, Hydronic Systems and others as required
- System troubleshooting and repair
- Ability to navigate and understand Building Automation Systems
- Follow company procedures for all service work.
- Provide required support in estimating service work and coordination of projects.
- Comply with corporate policy on safety, work ethics and time constraints.
- Ensure that work is executed as scheduled.
- Assist and participate in the on-call program
- Assist project and service managers with new accounts
Provided: Service truck, gas card, cell phone, IPAD, GPS, engineering and office support
Required: Five years' experience, EPA certification; DMV and background check; drug screening; OSHA 10; Training Certs
