About the Role:
As the Service Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the service department, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and overall department success. You will lead a team of technicians and service advisors, develop strategies to drive service sales, and maintain a high standard of work quality in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the service department, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient service delivery.
- Supervise and motivate a team of technicians, service advisors, and support staff.
- Ensure all customer vehicles are repaired and serviced according to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain excellent customer relations by addressing concerns and ensuring top-notch service experiences.
- Drive departmental sales growth, track performance, and meet set targets.
- Implement and enforce policies and procedures to maintain safety, quality, and compliance with company standards.
- Schedule and coordinate repair work, ensuring timely completion and minimal downtime for customers.
- Oversee inventory management for parts and tools to optimize operational efficiency.
- Work closely with the dealership management team to ensure alignment with dealership goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Service Manager in the automotive industry (experience with import brands is a plus).
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive repair and service processes.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- ASE certification is preferred, but not required.
