Job Description:
The Air Import Forwarder will oversee and manage the logistics of air imports, including shipment tracking, documentation, and client communication. This role is essential for coordinating the end-to-end process of air import shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery while meeting all compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and trace shipments using Cargowise software
- Coordinate with clients, international colleagues, and various vendors, such as airlines, warehouses, and trucking companies
- Manage billing processes and audit vendor invoices
- Organize delivery of air imports and process necessary documentation
- Approve freight invoices and credit notes in alignment with agreements
- Ensure compliance with customs and trade regulations and develop a strong understanding of client agreements
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-3 years in freight forwarding; experience in air import/export logistics is highly preferred
- Education: Open to various educational backgrounds
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, process-oriented, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Software: 1 years of experience with Cargowise is highly preferred
- Languages: Fluency in English
