Position SummaryUnder the general oversight of the Executive Director of Auxiliary Services, the Wellness Center Manager exercises leadership, creativity and sound judgment in operating the Wellness Center. The manager is responsible for all operational aspects of the center to include staffing, membership, developing and marketing new programs, business operations, establishing policies and procedures, equipment maintenance, and safety. The Wellness Center is open 86 hours over six days per week in an 18,000 sq ft facility with separate rooms containing state of the art cardio equipment, selectorized resistance equipment, free weights, fitness assessment equipment, and men’s and women’s locker rooms with saunas. With an annual operating budget of $600,000, the center is staffed by a total of twelve full time and student employees.
