We are looking for an individual to operate a tractor. The ideal candidate has the ability to work independently and in a crew setting, has effective time management skills, demonstrates reliability in all aspects of the position, and is safety conscious. Tractor Operators may be asked to perform other duties as assigned in order to meet contractual and scheduling needs.

Education/Experience:

• We prefer individuals with a high school diploma or GED but it is not required.
• Three years large equipment operation experience with at least one year of field mowing experience preferred.
• The individual in this position must be safety conscious and familiar with safety measures.
• You must also have empathy and respect for individuals with disabilities.

Compensation & Benefits

This is an hourly paid position and pay is issued every two weeks. As required by the Service Contract Act, Skils'kin pays an additional fringe benefit amount per hour toward the employee's health and welfare benefits which includes options for medical, dental, life insurance, and 401(k). Employees also receive paid sick leave and earn paid time off.

Other Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver's license, be at least 18 years of age and have a safe driving record determined by Skils'kin's vehicle insurance carrier.
• Pre-employment background screening required
• Must be able to obtain a Federal Contractors Badge upon employment to work on the Airforce Bae
• Preference will be given to those with documented disabilities.
