MSP (Managed service provider) of 20 years based in Roseville is looking for a Tier 2/3 IT support position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, in a client/server environment.
Create accounts for new users and maintain access for current users, in AD, office365, and google suites
Install and Support Windows Server's in a Hyper-V environment
Microsoft Cloud Experience (Azure, SharePoint, OneDrive)
Maintain servers, computers, printers, and other software/hardware.
backups of server files and maintain disaster recovery operations.
Perform data center and network related tasks, as assigned.
Perform repairs and replacements of software and hardware.
Plan and execute allotted work within deadlines and maintain records of tasks and times within tickets
Oversee inventory management of software and hardware.
Install antivirus software as well as oversee software license renewals.
Maintain accurate documentation for system installations, configurations, upgrades, and all other IT related tasks.
Install New computers, migrate old Data, Install new software.
Assist in special projects or requests. Other duties as necessary.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Experience in tracking all your time in a ticketing system like Autotask.
• Strong Troubleshooting in Hardware and Software.
• Mentor Level 1 technicians
• Background in Windows 10, 8.1, 8
• Microsoft 365 administration
• Desktop support knowledge; fixing Microsoft Office products, including Outlook.
• Comfortable using Apple/OS X Products.
• Installation and management of software (updates, tools, etc.).
• Customer service support over the phone or on-site; Remote support.
• Networking troubleshooting
• Data Management, record keeping.
• Management of mobile devices.
• Assist other IT team members when needed.
• Assist users in software, hardware, and web services including but not limited to all
• Cisco Experience is a Plus
Qualifications
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Clean driver’s license with mode of transportation
• minimum 2 years of Technical Support experience
• Possess strong verbal and written skills.
• Possess a strong work ethic, be a self-starter and team player
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and accurately with minimal supervision.
