Injection Molding Machine Operator sets up and operates injection molding machinery to shape plastics. Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery. Being an Injection Molding Machine Operator adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion. May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Additionally, Injection Molding Machine Operator requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Injection Molding Machine Operator works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Job Description :
As a member of the service team, you will be responsible to perform all the activities required to provide technical support to internal/external customers including but not limited to set up, maintenance, troubleshooting, optimization and repairing of injection molding systems. Working with the call center, spare parts, & customers directly to diagnose issues.
Approximately 90% local regional travel within assigned region (Monday – Friday) in addition possible 10% North American travel. Some weekend work will be required.
