Borrmann Metals powered by UPG is looking for an Inside Sales Manager. The Inside Sales Manager will have the responsibility of managing the activities and development of the Inside Sales team. This person will create a competitive, collaborative, and high-performance sales team. We are looking for a highly energetic person who continues to drive their financial success by focusing on a performance-based sales career. Your keen understanding of the inside sales process to serve various buyer personas while utilizing internal and external stakeholders is essential to the role. This position will report to the Director of Purchasing.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate inside sales team to connect with new and existing customers to discuss their needs and to review specific products and promotions that meet their needs.
• Document and report on customer needs while working closely with brand management to develop and identify gaps in our product lines or upcoming trends that should be capitalized on.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute campaigns that help ensure demand for our products via the right messaging and timely/relevant promotions.
• Coach and develop Inside Sales team members by identifying, planning, and participating in ongoing professional development.
• Provide daily, weekly, or monthly performance and analytic reports determined by executive leadership. This includes monthly forecast, pipeline, and other strategic reports outlined.

Position Requirements

• 5 years of Steel Industry experience
• BS/BA degree preferred
• Solid track record of managing a team of sales representatives creating a positive, productive, and collaborative sales environment that ensures motivation and achievement of results.
• Excellent analytical skills and developing strategies based on evolving data.
• Demonstrated consistent tenacity and drive to achieve goals.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce.com and Excel.
• Cognos experience is a plus.
• Must have strong leadership skills.
• Experience in a business development or cold-calling sales environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in a startup environment is preferred.
• Safety if the priority of all jobs at UPG.  Candidates must be able to comply, lead, initiate all safety policies, procedures, practices, and other related requirements.
• Ability to travel as required
