The Role - What Job Responsibilities Look Like
As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our customers, building relationships, and driving sales to support our mission of excellence in agriculture. In doing so, you'll:
Sales And Customer Support
- Assist customers with product inquiries and purchases through phone, email, or in-person interactions
- Build relationships with current customers, offering guidance and solutions to enhance their success
- Work collaboratively to resolve on-farm issues, address CIRs, and drive growth opportunities
- Support team sales goals by actively contributing to KPIs and delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Share bids, credit terms, and contracting options with customers clearly and professionally
Onboarding New Customers
- Guide new customers through account setup, delivery requirements, and necessary paperwork
- Foster strong relationships with new clients to promote loyalty and repeat business
Collaboration With Independent Consultants
- Partner with assigned independent consultants to support their success and resolve challenges
- Conduct farm visits as needed to maintain strong connections
- Facilitate clear communication and problem-resolution
Qualifications - What You Bring To The Table
- Up to five years of experience in a related field
- Proven ability to build relationships, influence outcomes, and achieve goals
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Ethical, energetic, adaptable, detail-oriented, and driven to succeed
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with customers and internal teams
- A valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science
- Two years of agricultural feed sales and nutrition experience
