The Town of Windsor seeks an enthusiastic, friendly part-time Instructor to work at the Windsor Montessori School & Discovery Center with students from 6 weeks of age to 10 years old. This position will assist in the planning and implementation of the summer program for all age groups. The ideal candidate should have experience with these age groups.

Duties include but are not limited to, guiding in directing the children’s activities in a prepared environment, assisting with supervising children, establishing relationships with children and families based on dignity and respect, assisting with housekeeping tasks, supervising children on field trips and while swimming, and attending staff meetings and other required trainings.

The successful candidate would work a flexible schedule of 25-40 hours per week (during the summer months), Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. The rate of pay is $15.69/hour. Experience in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, with a CDA preferred. A thorough background check and pre-employment drug screen (included testing for marijuana) will be required.
