Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Computer Science provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Computer Science typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. Job Summary- As a Mad Scientist, you will lead students through an inquiry-based discovery method involving instructor demonstrations, hands-on activities, and amazing take-home projects that will illustrate how science affects the world around us. Mad Science is the world’s leading provider of fun science programs for elementary-aged children.
Responsibilities- Facilitating a one-hour after-school science enrichment program using a pre-set, easy-to-understand curriculum. Classes are between the hours of 1:45 PM to 4:00 PM.
- Faculutate in-school one-hour science workshops for students in preschool to fifth grade using a pre-set, easy to understand grade appropriate curriculum. Classes are between the hours of 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Each session is high-energy. It’s part entertainment, part education, through a hands-on after-school class that meets for one hour each week for 6 or 8 weeks. Workshops are scheduled perdium.
