Being an Instructor - Computer Science provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Computer Science typically reports to a department head. Neumont College of Computer Science has an opening for a full-time Faculty (tech/computer science) to teach within our bachelor programs; with an employment start date in December 2024.
Faculty at Neumont College of Computer Science are responsible for educating students in accordance with the Neumont teaching methodology, which focuses on active learning and engaging students in the learning environment. Faculty members are also responsible for grading and providing valuable feedback to students in a timely manner, mentoring students in groups or individually, redesigning and evaluating curriculum. This position is also responsible for creating and assessing masters program coursework and materials, and other activities related to effective instruction.
The ideal candidate has 4 years minimum experience working in CS engineering or CS development and is familiar with the following:
