Salary & Benefits:

• Anticipated Hiring Range: $48,363 - $59,970/annual - depending on education and experience
• Full Salary Range: $48,363 - $71,577/annual - depending on education and experience
• Cafeteria Plan: In addition to the base compensation, benefits-eligible employees receive an extra $5,640 per year to put toward benefit costs or to be used as additional take-home pay
• Paid Holidays: 21 (including a full week off between Christmas and New Year’s Day and over Spring Break)
• Vacation & Sick Leave: Approximately 17 paid vacation days & 9 paid sick leave days accrued annually

• Provides leadership in the areas of curriculum, instruction, assessment and integration of technology
• Coaches teachers on standards-based instruction, use of standards-aligned curricular resources, and use of data to guide instruction

• Collaborates on local outreach and recruitment efforts.
• Conducts goal-setting sessions with new students following orientation.
• Coordinates distance (asynchronous), hyflex, and blending learning components
• Monitors data regularly for accuracy.   Assures accuracy of attendance information for monthly data entry.
• Coordinates with Program Assistant and ABE Instructors to maintain and update ABE attendance data in order to identify students ready for follow-up assessment.
• Verifies accuracy and alignment of data to the Arizona Adult Education Data Management System .
• Assist with advising students about post-GED steps for career and/or postsecondary transitions including AZ Pipeline, CCC’s TRIO program, and other tools/partners.
• Participates on hiring committees and conducts aspects of new instructor orientation.
• Coordinates curriculum alignment with CCR & ABE Content standards.
• Coordinates with instructors to determine resource and supply needs and communicates those needs to the director.
• Maintains the organization of the filing systems for participant folders.  Ensures instructors follow FERPA protocols when handling sensitive learner information.
• Provides ABE/ASE instruction and success coaching to students in one-on-one or small group settings to help students persist and progress along their HSE pathway.
• Assesses students’ proficiency through state approved tests, including the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) and GED Ready practice tests.  Refers students who may have learning difficulties and/or learning disabilities to CCC Disability Resources to assist them with needed accommodations.
• Participates in staff meetings, professional learning activities and ABE-affiliated conferences.
• Supervises and coaches instructors in order to improve instruction in ABE content areas and in using data to help with curricular decisions and advise learners.
• Prepares the program’s technology and ABE professional learning plans on an annual basis.
• Plans and implements professional learning based on the yearly plan.
• Assists with preparing state reports and grant applications.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
