Available Shifts:

Sunday: 8:00am - 4:00pm

Tuesday: 6:30am - 8:00am & 3:00pm - 6:00pm

Wednesday: 6:30am -8:30am & 4:00pm - 6:00pm

Friday: 4:00pm - 6:00pm

**Holidays on rotating basis, as scheduled**

Essential Functions:

• To assist / teach disabled clients how to be independent in their home with cooking, cleaning and grocery shopping.
• To assist / teach disabled clients how to be independent assembling contract parts for job requirements.
• Ensure clients are protected from abuse, neglect, denial of essential services and exploitation to the Area Manager/Area Director.
• Recognize and report the need to make changes in client service plan.
• Run and document programs on Therap.
• Administer and document medications.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with disabled adults is helpful, but not required. We will train the right candidates.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
• Familiarity with working with disabled adults in a respectful and professional manner.
• Must possess a valid Nebraska driver’s license and meet Agency driving record criteria.
• Must be 18 years of age to be certified as a Medication Aide.
• Must pass criminal background and APS/CPS background checks.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Starting wage 16.00 an hour. Plus differentials for experience and CNA and college degrees.
