Instrument Technician jobs in Sterling Heights, MI

We are seeking a qualified musical instrument repair technician who shares our passion for serving our musical community. Our technician’s responsibilities include providing estimates and completing repairs, from simple adjustments and preventative maintenance to complete rebuilds.

Required skills and qualifications

• Possess the skills necessary to complete high-quality repair work on all brass instruments
• Be able to effectively play test each instrument repaired
• Have two years experience in instrument repair, or have completed an apprenticeship with a NAPBIRT member shop

Preferred qualifications

• Some experience with brass instrument repair
• Graduation from a certified instrument repair program

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
