Responsibilities:
· Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding all bond-related inquiries, issues, and requests.
· Evaluate bond applications and assess the associated risks based on factors such as creditworthiness, financial stability, and industry trends.
· Negotiate with underwriters to secure the most competitive pricing and optimal bond coverage for clients.
· Responsible for overseeing the marketing and placement of new contract bond accounts and commercial bond submissions, including the identification of suitable programs/carriers and gathering all underwriting information from the insured to submit to the carrier for approval.
· Review contracts and monitor accounts to ensure compliance with the established account guidelines; obtain additional underwriting information to support the bond requirements of the insured.
· Manage the annual renewals of each bond by gathering necessary underwriting information, billing and collecting renewal premiums, and issuing and delivering renewal bonds or certificates to the insured in accordance with bond terms.
· Act as the Agency Administrator for carrier websites, responsibilities include acquiring login credentials and access for the commercial lines department, maintaining employee profiles, resetting passwords, managing employee tables for each carrier, and revoking access for terminated employees.
Qualifications:
· High school graduate. Some college or a bachelor’s degree preferred.
· Active 2-20 Florida Property and Casualty license.
· Minimum of 5 years of agency or relevant insurance experience.
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain complex issues, receive and interpret complex information and respond appropriately.
· Proficiency in computer programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and Applied Epic.
