Local Independent Insurance Agency seeking full time personal lines insurance customer service representative.
Ideal applicant should currently possess NY State Personal Lines insurance agent or brokers license but will train the right candidate and assist with obtaining license.
Duties include all phases of customer service for personal lines type policies including payments, billing questions, policy changes, photo inspections, assisting claims reporting and inside sales.( Auto, Homeowners, Renters, Rental Property, Cycle, Boat, ATV, Umbrella ) Must be detail oriented and able to multitask. Must work well with other employees and able to communicate with customers in person, over phone, and or email communications. Must have basic computer skills including ability to navigate multiple insurance company web sites, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook Mail and Insurance Agency Management software. Prior independent agency experience and use of Applied TAM management system a plus.
