The Director of EHR Integration and Optimization will help our communities thrive by ensuring optimal EHR utilization through end user training and education of products, optimized workflows, and best practices. They serve as a liaison between Physicians, Clinical staff, internal teams and external partners to promote the organizational products, tools, and programs through integration and education initiatives. Role and Responsibilities:

• Extensive knowledge of the organization's products and services
• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for EHR integration and optimization to align with the organization's goals and objectives.
• Identify future workflow, efficiency opportunities, and training needs and creating an integration and training program which constantly evolves and remains contextually relevant
• Communicate with business unit management, implementers, trainers and support team members to ensure all needs are met
• Resolve any specific problems and tailoring optimization training programs as necessary
• Lead cross-functional teams in the successful integration of EHR systems with other healthcare applications and platforms.
• Develop and implement performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of EHR integration and optimization efforts.
• Search for gaps in workflow and establishing training content and materials that need modifications to generate higher productivity and safety among staff
• Presents and trains on business applications efficiently and effectively, using best practices
• Supports product implementations through training and education
• Evaluates and delivers on opportunities to drive efficiencies in Physician workflow and positively impact lifestyle KPI's.
• Promotes best practice workflows and identifies and resolves barriers to their utilization
• Oversee general administrative duties of the EHR delivery teams.
• Prepare training locations ensuring instructors and trainees have the necessary tools for effective training
• Communicate all training programs timely
• Addresses and responds to customer training inquiries via ticketing system
• Provides guidance for team members on more complex implementation, training, or support issues
• Engage with vendors
• Perform basic project planning activities
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in EHR integration and optimization.
• Collaborate with other department heads to ensure alignment and integration of EHR systems across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and standards related to EHR integration and optimization.
• Represents the organization professionally at all times, supporting the mission, goals and objectives
• Any additional responsibilities not listed above and deemed necessary

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• Prior people management experience
• Previous experience of providing instruction to a group of people
• Strong client focus
• Value relationships; demonstrate professional respect and innovative mindset
• Confident working with varying types of heath care professionals
• Ability and comfort in presenting to audiences of varying sizes
• Approach problem solving that involves systems thinking - understanding how the process works and how people are impacted by your decisions
• Strong communication skills
• Understand sense of urgency and fast-paced environment; strong organizational skills
• Willingness and ability to attend after hour business meetings, as needed
• Requires travel up to 50%

Preferred Experience:

• 10 years of healthcare experience
• 10 years of Athena experience
• 10 years of multi-team management experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office Applications
• Experience with an LMS (Learning Management System)
