Being an International Trade Specialist ensures that all filings, documents, and regulatory reporting are completed accurately, in a timely manner, and according to trade laws. Keeps informed of international events and changes to laws and requirements that may impact operations. Additionally, International Trade Specialist may negotiate letters of credit or handle issues with international banks. May require a bachelor's degree. OVERVIEW:
The Director, InternationalTrade Compliance - Americas establishes, implements and audits programs and procedures to ensure McCormick is in compliance with the rules and regulations effecting global trade. The scope of this position includes US and foreign customs regulations, U.S. and foreign export regulations, business relationships with global trade-related service providers, and internal auditing of McCormick’s global trade activities. Responsible for the oversight of all import and export activities for the America's.
