Inventory Control Supervisor jobs in Dayton, OH

Seeking a highly skilled Inventory Control Supervisor for a growing Global Specialist in the electrical and digital building infrastructures in the Union, OH area. The Inventory Control Supervisor will assist management in the development and implementation of a formal program to audit all areas related to inventory movement for integrity and accuracy. This individual will lead the cycle counts a program. Will assist in optimizing inventory control procedures and implementing best practices

Qualifications:

• BS preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 years of experience in a distribution environment
• Must have strong leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to supervise others.
• Requires strong organizational and time management skills and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities. Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment is a must.
• Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, organize and accomplish a diversified work load.
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office and PKMS
• Must be highly collaborative and able to work in a team based environment. Must foster open communication and support an environment of innovation and creative change.

Main Job Duties:

• Develop, implement, and monitor all key functions related to inventory transactions to assure that they are accurate and timely.
• Coordinate a cycle count program in a perpetual inventory environment.
• Monitor and report all inventory metrics.
• Perform thorough research and document inventory discrepancies using all available resources to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Work with key personnel to effectively implement process improvements to operational procedures in an effort to proactively optimize overall location and item level accuracy and maintain the highest possible productivity levels.
