Bookkeeper – Deerfield, IL

We develop and manufacture aerial robotics, drones that are used in many industries such as agriculture, construction, and law enforcement. Providing real time data and high-resolution camera feeds, our innovative products are taking technology to a new level. It’s the data our customers need with ultra-high resolution visual and radiometric thermal cameras that are built for missions that matter most.

We are expanding and are currently seeking a Bookkeeper. You will be responsible for managing financial statements, performing bookkeeping tasks, utilizing accounting software, and maintaining accurate journal entries. In the role, you will be reporting to the Controller.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including receipts, invoices, and payments
• Prepare and submit financial reports and summaries as required
• Monitor accounts receivable, maintain an aging report, and address overdue accounts
• Daily reconciliation of bank statements with general ledger entries
• Prepare and issue invoices and monthly statements
• Assist with financial audits and tax filings; generate reports and conduct research
• Monitor and manage cash flow and assist with budgeting processes
• Collaborate with team and management to develop and implement policies and procedures that improve workflow and efficiency

Qualifications

• 3 years in a Bookkeeper or general accounting role
• Proficient in QuickBooks
• Solid understanding of tax laws
• Avalara experience is a plus
• Adaptable, high numerical aptitude, and team player
