Investor Relations Director directs and oversees an organization's investor relations function. Communicates with shareholders and/or the general financial community to develop and maintain positive relationships. Being an Investor Relations Director implements strategies to ensure the organization's relationships with shareholders reflect positively on the company's stock price. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Investor Relations Director typically reports to top management. The Investor Relations Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. The Director of Investor Relations will lead sales efforts to drive new Capital Investment from Institutional prospects and existing investors, develop relationships with Wealth Partners and RIA's/Family Office contacts, manage and service existing investors while gathering additional Capital, referrals, and consistently deliver uncompromising service to investors while modeling DLP's Core Values.
