IT Procurement Administrator administers and coordinates activities and processes in the IT procurement function. Prepares RFI's and RFP's based on stakeholder and company requirements. Being an IT Procurement Administrator conducts sourcing activities to evaluate supplier pricing and offerings. Reviews contracts, terms, and service level agreements. Additionally, IT Procurement Administrator inputs and tracks procurement data. Facilitates the planning and coordination of equipment delivery, installations, upgrades, and changes. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The IT Procurement Administrator work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. The Procurement Administrator position is critical to the supply chain department and is an immediate need. The Procurement Administrator is responsible for working with team members to plan and order purchase components and items. This position reports directly to the Director of Purchasing and touches on all facets of production planning and purchasing.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist each Purchasing team-member as needed.
2. Work with the Purchasing Director on impromptu projects.
3. Liaison amongst departments to facilitate order flow.
4. Back-up each Purchasing Team members.
5. Identify opportunities to develop efficient protocols.
6. Field questions from and distribute information to customer facing departments about inventory and order status.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree required.
2. Must possess excellent written communication skills.
3. Must have strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
4. Must have a positive attitude and a desire to grow.
5. Must have MS suite proficiency.
6. Sage experience a plus.
7. Lastly, must possess a sense of humor!
