It Works! Project Manager – Product Delivery

This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in the Palmetto, Florida office/2-days remote. Candidates must be local or relocate to be considered for this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Project Manager focused on Product Delivery you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful launch of new products as well as updates to existing products in the organizations’ Product Portfolio spanning across multiple categories including Health & Wellness, Beauty, Weight Loss, and more. Working closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Marketing, Digital, and various departments, you will ensure seamless product launches, manage product updates, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our product offerings.

In this role, you will also leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and methodologies to optimize project management processes, enhance decision-making, and drive data-driven insights for product development and launches.

This role will report to the Director of the Project Management Office (PMO).

Project Planning and Execution:

• Develop comprehensive project plans outlining timelines, milestones, and resource requirements for product related projects such as launches, exits, transitions, and more.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or obstacles, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Work with Product Operations to facilitate successful product transitions (reformulations, packaging updates, regulatory changes) and product exits to support management of the product portfolio lifecycle.
• Monitor and address risks that can impact projects, working with appropriate stakeholders to remove roadblocks and keep projects on track.
• Leverage AI and machine learning models to forecast project timelines and outcomes, improving the accuracy of planning and enhancing risk mitigation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with Operations to manage the procurement, manufacturing, and distribution processes for new product launches.
• Partner with Marketing to develop product positioning, messaging, and promotional strategies to drive product awareness and adoption.
• Work closely with Digital teams to ensure effective online presence and e-commerce integration for new products.
• Coordinate launch plans with various leads and stakeholders to ensure seamless launches to our customers.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Communicate project status updates, key milestones, and potential issues to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Facilitate regular meetings and discussions to ensure cross-functional alignment and collaboration on project objectives.

AI Integration and Management:

• Identify opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies across project management processes to enhance efficiency and decision-making.
• Evaluate and recommend AI tools and platforms suitable for project management tasks, data analysis, and automation.
• Stay updated on AI trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to project management and product development in the Health & Wellness industry.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, optimize resources, and enhance efficiency in product development, project management, and launch activities.
• Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects to drive continuous improvement in project management methodologies.
• Monitor and manage AI-driven processes, analyzing performance metrics and making adjustments as needed to improve outcomes.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the product-related industry or similar fields.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software such as Wrike, Microsoft Project, or Trello.
• Proven track record of successfully managing product launches or similar projects from conception to completion.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with departments such as Operations, Marketing, and Digital.
• Ability to influence team members who do not report directly to you, fostering collaboration and achieving project goals.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management principles, including product development, launch, and end-of-life processes is a plus but not required.
• Experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) for project management or related tasks is highly desirable.
• Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or related certifications are considered a plus, but not a requirement.
