IT Project Engineer is responsible for the completion of long-term IT engineering projects. Performs engineering design evaluations and works to complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints. Being an IT Project Engineer develops, implements, and monitors information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance. Reviews reports of computer and peripheral equipment production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine and address problems. Additionally, IT Project Engineer requires a bachelor's degree. May require ongoing training in network/telecom seminars. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be an IT Project Engineer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. -ASAP start date
-Onsite in Vero Beach, FL
-Drug & Background required
- Perform regular system checks (Closed Circuit TV ("CCTV”), Point of Sale ("POS”), System Monitor, Servers, Uninterruptible Power Supply ("UPS”) devices)
- Maintain hardware maintenance on Traka, POS and door locks.
- Replace hinges, buttons and keys on Traka equipment.
- Conduct bimonthly preventive maintenance on POS devices.
- Generate offline door report from Visionline on a daily basis.
- Provide support on rebuilding and reprogramming door locks.
- Provide network infrastructure support as follows:
- Install Local Area Network ("LAN”) drops where needed;
- Perform cable management on servers and LAN drops;
- Perform installation and maintenance of CCTV cameras; and.
- Perform installation and maintenance of Digital Signage (Front Desk).
- Provide Office move support as follows:
- Disconnect and reconnect computers;
- Confirm operability and network connectivity of the computers;
- Confirm operability of phones.
- For Lync phones, complete Layer 1 patching and troubleshooting for LAN; and
- Map networked printers post reconnection as required.
