Job Summary:
A Junior Merchandiser works with one or more of Winston Retail’s clients to support their on-floor presence by expediting stock to the selling floor. The key focus will be on product placement, replenishment and recovery by following a visual directive and guideline. You will be required to provide photos and reports for each visit which are communicated via Winston’s proprietary web based store visit reporting site. In this position, you will either work independently or as part of a team, as requested.
Experience Requirements:
1-2 years experience within a department, specialty or retail store.
Previous work as a stock or sales associate with an apparel, accessory or footwear company
Required Skills:
Ability to work independently
Communicates timely and effectively
Ability to maneuver inside a stockroom
Execute from clients’ directives and substitute if necessary based on inventory
Ability to adhere to deadlines regarding calendar confirmation, service report submissions, invoicing, etc.
Intermediate to advance computer knowledge (Excel, Word, email and digital photography)
Proficient in capturing crisp, clear mirror image photography (before and after photos to showcasing completed work)
Preferred Skills:
Ability to work independently
Comfortable speaking with store management.
Superior visual merchandising expertise
Dressing mannequins (preferred)
