As a Production Manager, you will collaborate closely with Account Managers to provide exceptional customer service, efficient estimating, and effective budgeting.

    Essential Job Functions: 

    • Understand client needs through regular communication with Account Managers. 

    • Ensure that job site quality and appearance meet both client and company standards. 

    • Manage all landscape services, including coordination of materials, personnel, equipment, and subcontractors. 

    • Inspect properties before scheduled services, preparing action plans as necessary. 

    • Monitor and identify issues with irrigation systems, landscape health, insects, or diseases. 

    • Assist crews as needed to meet work demands. 

    • Enforce company policies related to safety, equipment upkeep, storage, and training. 

    • Collaborate with Account Managers to identify staffing needs, hire crew members, and schedule daily work. 

    • Oversee employee training, development, counseling, and disciplinary actions. 

    • Provide hands-on training and support to crew members. 

    • Focus on safety standards and maintain safety records. 

    • Manage required paperwork and Aspire entries. 

    • Order materials, monitor costs, and deliveries. 

    • Manage and mentor direct reports within your division. 

    Requirements: 

    • High School Diploma and a minimum of five years of progressive maintenance landscaping industry experience, including at least two years in a leadership role. 

    • Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. 

    • Bi-lingual communication skills are a plus. 

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

    • Solid knowledge of landscaping equipment, tools, and machinery. 

    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. 

    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 

    • Strong listening skills with patience and empathy. 

    • Highly motivated, well-organized, detail-oriented, creative, and innovative. 

    • Effective time management skills with a sense of urgency. 

    • Computer proficiency. 

    • Safety leadership skills. 

    • Ability to troubleshoot and work from mobile offices or corporate vehicles in the field. 

    • Positive representation of ULS’s employee base.
