We are seeking a talented and experienced Landscape Architect or Designer and Project Estimator to join our team. To fulfill this position, you will be responsible for designing and planning outdoor spaces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and then create detailed plans and drawings to bring their vision to life.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to determine project requirements and goals
-Conduct site analysis to assess environmental factors and constraints
- Design outdoor spaces, including pools, patios and complete landscape / hardscape packages
- Create detailed plans, drawings, and specifications using various software tools such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit, and Render with Lumion, Enscape or similar software. We also use Structure Studios as a base design and for quick concepts.
- Select appropriate materials, outdoor elements and all outdoor accessories such as lighting, irrigation, fire / water features, etc. required for each job.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and codes
- After the design is complete, you will be in charge of all cost estimates using our estimation software and developing proposals for each client.
- Work with clients throughout the entire process until the job is sold. Design, budgeting, revisions and final estimation.
- Oversee the implementation of landscape projects, including coordinating with contractors and monitoring progress
```Qualifications```
- Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years in the residential landscape, hardscape, pool and/or building construction industry to apply.
- Proven experience as a Landscape Architect, with a portfolio showcasing previous projects
- Proficiency in GIS (Geographic Information System) software for site analysis and mapping
- Strong ability to illustrate design concepts through hand sketches or digital renderings
- Excellent knowledge of Outdoor living area environments including Pools, Hardscape Elements, plant materials, lighting, irrigation and sustainable design principles
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting detailed plans and drawings
- Familiarity with Sketchup, Revit and rendering software is a must
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members
- Sales experience is beneficial for client acquisition
