Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Landscape Architect to join our team. As a Landscape Architect, you will be responsible for designing and planning outdoor spaces, including parks, gardens, and commercial landscapes. Your expertise in landscape design software and project management will be essential in creating visually stunning and functional landscapes.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for outdoor spaces
- Design and create landscape plans using CAD or other programs
- Develop detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for landscape projects
- Select appropriate plants, materials, and structures for each project
- Coordinate with project manager during the implementation of landscape designs
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and environmental guidelines
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and provide recommendations for improvement
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD and other landscape design software
- Strong knowledge of landscape architecture principles and practices
- Excellent project management skills to oversee the entire design process from concept to completion
- Ability to draft accurate and detailed drawings for construction purposes
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and sustainable landscaping practices
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members
- Sales skills to promote services and secure new projects
