Lawn Care Route Manager Job Description

Title: Lawn Care Supervisor

Reports To: Operations Manager

Description: As the Lawn Care Supervisor for CoastView Lawn & Landscape, you will be responsible for providing clients with best management practices, recommendations for services, written proposals, and completion of field services for the care of their lawns. This position requires industry knowledge, attention to detail, adaptability, self-motivation, and organizational aptitude. The employee will have a positive attitude and a professional approach when interacting with customers and with colleagues in our marketing, customer service, sales, and operations departments.

Duties:

Sales

Meet with clients

Recommend a course of action for care of their lawns

Write proposals and get agreements with clients

Enter proposals into the database

Follow up on sales proposals

Production Support management team with equipment design and purchasing.

Support management team with the development of service offering protocols.

Support management team with product selection and purchasing.

Do the production work for our new customers.

Training: Create and present internal training of the lawn care program to staff.

Collaborate with the General Manager and Operations Manager to set curriculum topics that will meet the needs of the individual employees and the company.

Turf Management Background and Skills:

Soil understanding and management

Turf growth understanding & management

Weed identification & control

Disease identification & control

Pest identification and control

Diagnostic and recommendation skills

Proposal writing skills

Sales and customer service skills

A successful employee who will be self-motivated, with organizational skills and the ability to identify, prioritize, and complete tasks promptly.

The individual needs to have computer skills including working knowledge of Micro-Soft Office products. Training will be provided for specific work-related programs. The employee must be able to work well with others.

Qualifications: Degree in Turfgrass Management or equivalent Experience in turfgrass management Certified Applicator Tree care background a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
