    What you'll be doing:

    • Must assure Quality functions in Receiving and Inspection are carried out according to specifications, SOPs, JIBs, and GMPs.

    • Must review and follow-up on specification and SOP changes as necessary to assure compliance to accurate departmental procedures.

    • Must gather data from raw material testing through use of required inspection and testing equipment to provide accurate feedback to management.

    • Must assist with raw material testing for protocols and mold approvals.- Must make decisions with and without supervisory assistance in regards to areas of responsibility.

    • Must have computer skills to be able to enter information into the Materials Management System (MMS) for raw material sampling, inspection/testing, and disposition.

    • Must make decisions with and without supervisory assistance in regard to areas of responsibility. Effectively connect with Manufacturing and Quality Management.

    • Must have knowledge of both plant and department environmental health and safety regulations and comply with said regulations accordingly. .

    What you'll bring
    • High School Diploma required

    • Associate's degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience plus 1 year related experience preferred.

    • Knowledge of measurement methods and various tools needed to perform dimensional and physical test procedures

    • Experience in Quality Management preferred.

    • Ability to demonstrate correct sample and test techniques

    • Mathematical aptitude

    • Knowledge of measurement methods

    • Ability to perform correct sampling techniques (i.e., torque, chemical, etc.)

    • Ability to pay attention to details

    • Ability to perform SPC techniques

    • Ability to work with computer systems

    • Must be able to use weight scales

    • Ability to react quickly and efficiently to non-standard conditions on line.

    • Ability to assist in protocol evaluation performed in particular area or responsibility.

    • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 25 pounds.

    • Ability to climb on ladders

    • Audiometric testing and hearing protection required

    • Candidates must meet visual acuity requirements as documented in Baxter Cleveland Visual Acuity procedure CL-01-01-037.

    • Ability to work in unfavorable conditions (hot/cold temperatures)

    • Ability to lift above the shoulder up to 20 pounds

    • Ability to reach above shoulder

    • Ability to bend/stoop

    • Ability to stand for long periods of time



    We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $40,000 - $55,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than that of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
