Bizzabo’s Legal team is hiring! We’re looking for a tech-savvy, exceptionally organized, and articulate Legal Operations Manager who is excited to design, implement, streamline, and execute efficient processes and procedures to help us do our best work and scale Bizzabo’s Legal function.

The ideal candidate will have a strong desire for driving operational efficiency with a track record of significant exposure to sales and procurement teams, contract management, and other areas relevant to Legal Ops (such as insurance, corporate governance, and budget tracking). The ideal candidate will also have a growth mindset and will be a solutions-oriented, creative thinker, who is comfortable in a fast-scaling startup environment. The ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across diverse, cross-functional stakeholders, both internal and external, is essential. What you’ll be doing:

• Initiate and manage a large scale of legal projects from beginning to end, and work to simplify and automate legal processes and flows, and centralize repositories where applicable
• Manage legal department budgets, including tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities
• Proactively initiate and manage legal operations initiatives with a focus on improving the efficiency and functionality
• Serve as the primary resource for legal contract and document management and maintenance and operationally manage pre and post contracting procedures, including counterparty communication, RFP management, contract negotiation, contract review, contract renewals, and contract analytics
• Collaborate closely with finance, HR, Compliance, and other departments to gather information, analyze data, and ensure alignment with compliance requirements
• Provide administrative support, and manage the department’s affairs, including direct support to the General Counsel.
• Take charge of maintaining the backbone of our corporate structure by overseeing entity management and ensuring meticulous maintenance of our charter documents and corporate resolutions. Who you are:

• At least 2 years experience in an in-house legal department / Law firm, preferably in technology, handling legal operations (experience as a Commercial or Corporate Paralegal a HUGE plus)
• Hardworking, detail oriented, proactive team member with proven project management skills to consistently complete projects on-time with great attention to detail; capability to handle multiple assignments and manage major projects to successful completion
• Ability to effectively create and implement new and scalable processes leveraging AI technologies
• High level of professionalism and loyalty; ability to handle sensitive/confidential information with appropriate care
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced, disruptive business

In accordance with the New York Pay Transparency Law: The Legal Operations Role role has a salary range of $80,000-$100,000 depending on previous experience and other factors determined after a thorough interview process.
