Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our team. The Legal Secretary will provide administrative support to attorneys, ensuring the smooth operation of the law office. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- File and organize legal documents, correspondence, and case files
- Assist with document review and preparation
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff members
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings
- Draft and proofread legal documents, including contracts and correspondence
- Conduct interviews with clients to gather necessary information
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
- Perform legal research using resources such as Westlaw
- Assist with billing and invoicing processes
- Manage calendars and coordinate travel arrangements for attorneys

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar role is preferred
- Proficiency in legal administrative tasks and procedures
- Familiarity with document management systems such as Clio
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
