EXPERIENCED LEGAL ASSISTANT

High Volume Law Firm seeks Family Law legal assistant with a minimum of 5 years experience. The ideal candidate will ensure effective case management by providing legal assistance under the supervision of attorneys. Salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

• Strong administrative skills in family law with experience handling divorce, custody, parenting and support matter issues and documentation.
• Ability to assist attorneys in managing client queries and intake interviews for new client prospects.
• Efficiently and effectively calendaring, billing, and filing in all courts.
• Written and oral communication with clients, attorneys, and court staff in a professional manner.
• Self starter, team player

Qualifications:

• 5 years experience in family law.
• Excellent organizational skills for heavy case load to include calendaring and billing.
• Professional and effective communication skills with a team-player mentality.
• Familiarity with legal procedures, and protocols.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to build rapport with clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional appearance and manner.
• Punctual.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
