Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated and experienced Licensing Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in managing and expanding our portfolio of licensed products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in licensing, brand management, and product development. Candidate must also have a keen eye for market trends and a passion for brand integrity.
Duties:
- Negotiate and manage licensing agreements with licensors and licensees, ensuring compliance and maximizing profitability.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with licensing partners, identifying new opportunities for growth and collaboration.
- Oversee the product development process for licensed merchandise, ensuring products meet brand standards and market expectations.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in licensed products.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Team to develop strategies for the promotion and distribution of licensed products.
- Monitor and report on the performance of licensed products, providing insights and recommendations to Senior Management.
- Ensure all licensed products comply with legal and regulatory requirements. .
- Ensure all licensing requirements are met and maintained.
- Maintain accurate records of licenses and certifications.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
-Minimum of 2 years experience in licensing, brand management, or related field, preferably in the entertainment, sports, consumer goods sector.
- Proven track record of successful licensing agreements and products launches.
- Strong typing skills for data entry tasks.
- Knowledge of office management procedures.
- Strong negotiations, communication, and relationship building skills.
- Excellent customer service skills for interacting with clients and regulatory agencies
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and industry related software.
- High accuracy in data entry tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and lead cross-functional teams.
