Localization Engineer develops and produces localized versions of the company's products and services. Supports the creation and maintenance of localization test specifications and scripts for automating localization testing. Being a Localization Engineer tests localized products according to test specifications. Identifies, prioritizes and fixes localization bugs according to established procedures. Additionally, Localization Engineer applies working knowledge of networks, operating systems, hardware, software, and testing/production environments in performing work assignments. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Localization Engineer occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. What are the main functions of this role?- The Electrical/FPGA Design Engineer II will engage in a broad range of engineering activities as a member of a diverse team working to design the next generation of small satellites.
- BS degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or similar Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- 4 years of hardware design or test engineering Advanced academic degrees may count toward experience.
- Strong ability to communicate with other engineers, management, and external customers over both written and verbal communication channels is a must.
- Excellent analytical skills and demonstratable knowledge of electrical engineering and system level design.
- Familiarity with at least one schematic capture/layout tool and at least one spice- based simulation tool.
- Experience using MATLAB, Python, or other scripting language for scientific
- Experience designing for harsh or mission critical environments a plus – including but not limited to aerospace, automotive, aviation, medical, or naval.
- Experience designing to industry standards (such as EMI/EMC) a
- Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- BS degree or higher in Electrical Engineering and 4 years detailed electronics design experience with at least 4 years of FPGA design experience (verification experience is a plus)
- Experience with design trades, design concept discussions, system specifications, system analyses and failure reporting.
- Exceptional written communication skills, strong presentation skills and the ability to contribute to technical group discussions and conversations with customers and team members

- Familiarity with clock domain crossing (CDC) tools and FPGA design pitfalls is nice to have.
- Familiar with AXI based design, DMA, and scripting tools.
- Experience with interpreting schematics, using schematic capture tools, and digital board design is a plus.
- Experience with embedded processor-based electronics architecture.
