Localization Engineer develops and produces localized versions of the company's products and services. Supports the creation and maintenance of localization test specifications and scripts for automating localization testing. Being a Localization Engineer tests localized products according to test specifications. Identifies, prioritizes and fixes localization bugs according to established procedures. Additionally, Localization Engineer applies working knowledge of networks, operating systems, hardware, software, and testing/production environments in performing work assignments. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Localization Engineer occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. The individual with this position will have to coordinate between the machine shop, quotation department and the customer. This position will consist of on-site work and field service work. This engineering position will entail a dual role with hands-on tasks along with office responsibilities. It is expected that the individual will need training as part of the on-boarding process and Sulzer will accommodate.
