Logistics Director jobs in Springfield, MA

BlueForce, Inc. is seeking for Logistics Managers and Specialists to provide services in support of upcoming task orders located in Central America and other Western Hemisphere countries such as Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, Panama, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago, Bahamas, Jamaica, Guyana, Suriname, and the Eastern Caribbean.

General Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Work with the office manager to provide logistical support.
• Oversee facility operations and maintenance.
• Oversee equipment, cars, and motorcycles.
• Oversee inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Prepare procurement requests for the out-source maintenance that may be required.
• Attend meetings and participate in team decisions.
• Local and international travel may be required.

Please note that depending on the years of experience, there are 2 labor categories available.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Years of professional experience may be acceptable instead.
• RSO security clearance required.
• FSI level 4/4 Spanish, Level 3/3 English (for Belize English only).
• Experience working in a professional environment.
• Experience in creating and implement automotive maintenance schedules.
• General automotive maintenance experience.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of files and other documents.
• Ability to work with cash receipts and keep up-to-date, accurate expense records.
   

Logistics Manager:

• Five (5) years of experience in logistics.
• Two (2) years of experience as a logistics manager.
• Three (3) years of experience in creating logistics policies.

Logistics Specialist:

• Three (3) years of experience in logistics.
• One (1) year of experience in creating logistics policies.
