Logistics Manager manages all aspects of an organization's logistics management function to control, deliver, and distribute products and materials to the destination. Implements an overall strategy, metrics, and processes to deploy an optimized logistic network and operations. Being a Logistics Manager oversees critical and related inventory, distribution, and transportation operations that support the achievement of organizational goals and KPI's for product delivery and customer satisfaction. Selects vendors and negotiates rates and service levels and monitors performance. Additionally, Logistics Manager ensures compliance with all regulations governing transportation of goods. Utilizes analytics to monitor and measure performance, identify problems in operations, and achieve high performance at optimal cost. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Logistics Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Logistics Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Project Manager

  • Essential Functions

    • Carry out the Cost Analysis, estimate all necessary human and material resources, and manage all expenses and consumption during the Project.
    • Interact with Customers and Partners to identify and coordinate the requirements and execution of work on the Project
    • Be the Facilitator of the Site Leader and Management Team to ensure the correct exercise of the activities of the entire Team
    • Prepare the Start of the Project (Team Training, Managing pre-execution stages, and materials management)
    • Create a complete Work Plan (PPCP), Phases, Milestones, and work methodologies applicable to all Teams
    • Constant communication with the Client and Partners on all topics relevant to the Project, actively participating in face-to-face and online meetings remotely and locally for all designated Projects
    • Prepare and make available the Physical and Financial Reports weekly
    • Be fully responsible for all assigned Projects (Analysis, Preparation, Initiation, Development, Execution, and Final Delivery)
    • Monitor the Customer's visits and technical evaluations and formalize the Acceptance Process by the customer for all stages of execution and completion of the Project
    • Interview and define the Management team for the execution of the Project
    • Focus on good customer service and satisfaction, ensuring compliance with internal rules, policies, processes, and regulations
    • Maintain constant order and cleanliness in the execution of the Project
    • Ensure compliance with the Work Plan and carry out the necessary modifications and adjustments for the Project
    • Fully comply with the schedule of activities and deliveries to the customer
    • Ensure execution and delivery within customer quality standards and health and safety policies
    • Perform all necessary operational tasks and all activities that are requested or assigned by Management

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Agile Planning, Programming, and Operation Control Methodologies
    • Knowledge of technical and regulatory standards
    • Ability to identify and mitigate risks and delays
    • Experience in Change Management and Action Plans
    • Knowledge of audit processes and techniques
    • Knowledge of Quality Systems, Protocols, and Certifications
    • Experience in Construction, Production, and/or Maintenance
    • Knowledge and experience in Manufacturing, TPM, Failure Analysis, and 5S
    • Experience in Continuous and Focused Improvement
    • Desirable: NR 11 / NR 18 / NR 35 course
    • One year in Engineering Project Management
    • One year in the Management of large teams
    • One year in Construction Management
    • Have worked in Industrial Production and Maintenance
