Loss Control Manager manages and develops loss control programs and administers risk management programs related to operating risk, insurance, and any class of financial risk. Researches and reports on cost effective plans to minimize loss. Being a Loss Control Manager contributes to business plans and objectives. Ensures compliance with all regulations and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations which pertain to loss control. Additionally, Loss Control Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Loss Control Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Loss Control Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • We're looking for a skilled and self-motivated Quality Control Manager to join our construction industry team. Your main responsibility as a team member will be to ensure that all projects comply with government regulations and meet the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate for this role should possess significant experience in managing federal construction projects with USACE.

    Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Create and execute quality control plans for projects
    • Regularly inspect construction sites to ensure adherence to project specifications, contractual obligations, and governmental regulations
    • Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to detect and resolve quality issues
    • Verify that all construction materials and equipment meet project requirements and provide approval
    • Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and promptly report any concerns to senior management
    • Conduct training sessions on quality control procedures and best practices for construction staff
    • Partner with government agencies and third-party inspectors to guarantee compliance with all regulations and standards

    Knowledge, Experience, and Skill Requirements:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control management
    • CQM Certification
    • EM385-1-1 Certification
    • Exceptional computer skill
    • Experience in RMS
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex data
    • Ability to travel to project sites as needed
    • Must be able to pass a background check
    • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred

    Job Types: Full-time, Contract

    Pay: $65,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

    Schedule:

    • 10 hour shift
