Mail Clerk receives, sorts and distributes incoming mail. Collects and processes outgoing mail. Being a Mail Clerk operates postage machine and other mailroom equipment as needed. Typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Mail Clerk typically reports to a Mailroom Supervisor. The Mail Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Summary/Objective: The Shipping Clerk position is part of the materials team and will create packing slips, receive finished goods into inventory and pull/package required material/certifications for shipments. This individual will perform system transactions, monitor inventory levels and fulfill customer orders as required. This individual will possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. This individual will possess a positive attitude and look for innovate ways to continually meet or exceed our customer’s expectation, both internally and externally
