Maintenance Planner, Sr. devises plans and programs for routine preventative maintenance and scheduled turnaround events at a plant or production facility. Accurately defines and estimates required work requests and maintains a consistent tracking system for work orders. Being a Maintenance Planner, Sr. develops inspection and survey procedures to ensure an effective preventative maintenance system. Works closely with technicians, engineers, operations, and managers to establish a schedule of proactive maintenance activities during appropriate downtime. Additionally, Maintenance Planner, Sr. utilizes planning and scheduling methods to ensure the most effective and least disruptive maintenance possible. Typically uses a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking and planning maintenance. Monitors spare parts inventory to ensure availability of required parts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. May require a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Maintenance Planner, Sr. work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. Join a team that inspects and dispositions chemical process equipment and components. You will work under minimal supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented production facility operators, machinists and inspectors. You will be provided with on-the-job training and learning experiences. You will use your expert inspection and analytical skills to facilitate component inspection to ensure compliance with FAA and other federal agency, as well we customer, standards. You will train and mentor less experienced analysts.
