The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for leading our ambitious, national recruitment efforts, driving the strategic direction of our talent acquisition function, and leading the development of systems and processes to source, recruit and hire the best talent to support the organizational needs.
- Develop and implement talent acquisition plans to meet the company’s hiring goals across various functions including investor relations, real estate development, construction, property management and support services.
- Lead, manage and mentor a team of recruiters, fostering a high-performance culture and continuous improvement.
- Serve as a leader within the broader human resources team.
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring efficient and effective practices from sourcing and screening to interviewing and hiring.
- Design and implement effective recruitment workflows and processes, enhancing efficiency and ensuring compliance with employment regulations in multiple states.
- As needed, act as a hands-on recruiter, directly sourcing, recruiting, and interviewing candidates for critical and high-volume roles.
- Utilize data and analytics to monitor, evaluate and improve the talent acquisition function’s performance strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align the recruitment strategy accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Create and lead effective training for team members in the hiring process to improve quality of hiring decisions.
- Assist in assessing potential new markets for company expansion, identifying talent pools and recruitment challenges specific to new geographical areas.
- Participates in and may lead workforce planning strategy sessions.
- Evaluate, make recommendations, and implement strategies associated with college-recruiting, third-party recruiting firms, and initiatives associated with diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field required. Advanced degree or professional certifications in HR or talent acquisition preferred.
- 8 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in a fast-growing environment.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing recruitment strategies that attract top talent.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop recruiting professionals.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement including implementing effective talent acquisition workflows and compliance initiatives.
- Ability to demonstrate resilience, embrace a positive attitude to change, and actively promote a culture of adaptability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – both oral and written – with the ability to engage and influence at all levels in the organization.
- Proficient in using recruitment technologies and systems to drive efficient and effective hiring processes.
- Experience in market assessment and strategic planning for expansion into new locations is highly desirable.
- Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, One Note, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Paylocity.

- Ability to perform the physical functions of the position, which may include, but are not limited to: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time. Must be able to navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
