Manufacturing Engineer Manager jobs in Daytona Beach, FL

Summary: Seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager with a strong background in CNC machining and programming, project management, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in CNC machining, programming, and fixture design

• Proven experience in project management leading product launches and continuous improvement activities

• At least 3 years of engineering experience in a fast-paced, continuous improvement production environment

• Proficiency in ERP systems, such as Epicor or SAP

• Solid knowledge of cutting tools, work holding design, and inspection methods

• Proficient in SOLIDWORKS and CAM Simulation Software

Responsibilities:

• Establishing and prioritizing schedules and assignments for the Manufacturing Engineering team

• Managing product launch plans/schedules, setting priorities for the manufacturing process engineers

• Recommending and implementing lean improvements to design processes, methods, and controls

• Driving continuous improvement of lean manufacturing efforts

• Coordinating manufacturing launches for new or revised products

• Designing, developing, testing or sourcing various tools, machinery for recommended design methods

• Creating and editing CNC programs.
